Senior Full-Stack Engineer

CareChain is building the network that cuts specialty wait-times in Canada from months to weeks. As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will ship the platform that triage, referrals, booking, and eClaims all run on, the software a patient, a physiotherapist, and a health-system administrator each touch on the same case.

We are a small, senior team, so you will own meaningful surfaces of the product with real autonomy and a direct line to the clinicians who depend on what you build.

What you'll do

• Design and build features end to end across our TypeScript and React front end and Node services.
• Own meaningful surfaces of the product, from the provider workflow to the referral pipeline, with real autonomy.
• Work directly with clinicians and product to turn pathway logic into reliable, auditable software.
• Hold a high bar for data security, privacy, and 100% Canadian data residency in everything you ship.
• Help shape engineering practices on a small, senior team where your judgement carries weight.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years building and operating production web applications, ideally with TypeScript, React, and Node.
• A track record of owning features from idea to production, not just closing tickets.
• Care for the craft (testing, observability, and clean data models) balanced with a bias to ship.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a small team; you like deciding what to build as much as how.
• Bonus: experience in healthcare, regulated data, or marketplace products.
