Health-System Partnerships Manager

Canada ranks last among 11 peer health systems on specialty wait-times, and the people who can change that sit inside provincial health systems and academic centres. As Health-System Partnerships Manager, you bring those decision-makers a concrete offer: a triage model that cut a median wait from 27 weeks to 4 weeks, audited and published.

You will build and manage relationships with health-system and hospital leaders, working from the credibility of our anchor partnership with the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). This is a measured, evidence-led sale to a sophisticated buyer, not a pitch.

What you'll do

  • Build relationships with provincial health-system and hospital leaders, and guide them from first conversation through to a signed partnership.
  • Frame the case with numbers: 85% of patients triaged off the specialty wait-list, and Canadian specialty waits that have grown 200-500% since 1993.
  • Run the analysis that shows a prospective partner the wait-time and capacity impact for their own population.
  • Work with clinical and data teams to scope each rollout against the realities of that health system.
  • Represent CareChain credibly to academic and clinical audiences, hedging appropriately where a partnership is still confidential.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years in health-system sales, partnerships, or strategy, with a record of closing complex public-sector or hospital deals.
  • Fluency in the field vocabulary of Canadian outpatient specialty care and wait-time policy.
  • The judgement to make an argumentative-but-measured case to clinicians and administrators who will test every claim.
  • Strong analytical skills; you can build the impact model, not just present it.
  • Bonus: an existing network in Canadian health systems, or working French for our Quebec home market.

About CareChain

Most patients on a specialist wait-list do not need a specialist. We route each one through an AI-supported assessment led by an Allied Health Provider, so specialists see only the patients who need them and everyone else gets care faster. Our outcomes are audited and published: a median wait cut from 27 weeks to 4 weeks, with 85% of patients safely triaged off the list and 92% patient satisfaction.

We operate across 3 provincial health systems, 40+ clinics, and 2 academic centres, with 100% Canadian data residency. We are remote-friendly across Canada with hubs in Toronto and Montreal, and we offer health benefits from day one, equity for every full-time employee, and a vacation minimum we enforce.
